Do your products work on dogs?
None of the products are designed to use on dogs. However, we have customers and animal control departments that use our products to stop dog fights and dog attacks. They have given very good feedback on that.
For high voltage stun guns like our Matrix Stun Gun 1 Million Volt and Stun Baton 18" 800,000 Volt, customers have found that, when you test fire it, it makes a very loud cracking noise. They found that a lot of times that noise is enough to scare the dog and stop the attack.

Why would I need
more than one self defense product?
Very simple. It is for the same reason as having more than one
telephone at home. Why would anyone need more than one telephone in
the same house? It is because when a telephone rings, you usually
will have about 10-15 seconds to locate the phone and respond to it.
Most people do not want to miss a phone call. It is their priority
to answer the phone before the last ring. Therefore, they will place
as many telephones as they can afford all over the house. An average
middle class family will have one telephone in the living room, one
in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. If answering a simple phone
call is such a high priority in the house, what about stopping an
intruder? You probably will have to locate the self defense weapon
within 10-15 seconds or even less. How would you rate that priority?
And more importantly, how would you price it? We strongly believe,
when it comes to you and your loved ones, safety is priceless.
Can I carry them or put them in my car?
Different areas might have different regulations. Please contact your local law enforcement or sheriff's office and they should be able to tell you over the phone.

Do I need to buy batteries for a rechargeable unit?
No. The rechargeable unit already has rechargeable batteries built into it. You do not need to purchase batteries for it.
Do I or Can I replace the batteries for the rechargeable unit?
No. Since the battery compartment is completely sealed, you cannot replace the batteries. However, all of our rechargeable units can be recharged 100 times; this should already last you years.
Does the stun gun have a battery indicator?
Unfortunately, No. But when you test fire the unit, you should be able to tell if the batteries are getting weaker. When the battery is weak, you can see that the current that passes through the metal prongs is not as strong.
Is the Lithium Power Magazine (for TASER C2) or Digital Power Magazine (for TASER X26C) rechargeable?
No. The Lithium Power Magazine for TASER C2 can provide 50+ firing. The Digital Power Magazine for TASER X26C can provide 90+ firing. You may purchase another power magazine when it is dead.
What does the manufacturer limited lifetime warranty cover?
It covers everything that is the manufacturer's fault. Meaning if the unit is sitting on your table and just stops working, it will be 100% covered. If you drop the unit and it stops working, it WILL NOT be covered.
What does the 2-Year or 3-Year Unlimited Warranty cover?
Basically it is a replacement guarantee and it covers everything. As long as you contact us and can ship us back the broken or defective product, we will replace it with a new one. This warranty does not cover lost or stolen items.
Which stun gun do you recommend
We recommend the Matrix Stun Gun. It is one of the smallest model and has the highest knock down power of 1 Million Volts. The best part is that it only weighs 4 oz and is only 3.5 inches long.
How stun guns work?
Stun gun uses high voltage and low amperage to temporarily disable
an attacker for several minutes. Stun gun does not rely on pain for
results. The energy stored in stun gun is dumped into the attacker
muscles causing them to do a great deal of work rapidly. This rapid
work cycle instantly depletes the attacker blood sugar by converting
it to lactic acid. In short, he is unable to produce energy for his
muscles, and his body is unable to function properly. Stun gun also
interrupts the tiny neurological impulses that control and direct
voluntary muscle movement. When the attacker neuromuscular system is
overwhelmed and controlled by the stun gun he loses his balance.
When a stun gun touches both probes against the assailant’s body for ½ second, it will startle the assailant, giving him some pain, muscular contraction and shock. For 1-2 seconds, it will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state. For 3-5 seconds, it will cause loss of balance and muscle control, total mental confusion and disorientation, leaving him dazed. Under no conditions can you suffer a charge back to your own body, even if the assailant touches you while you are using a stun gun on him.
Isn't high voltage lethal?
It's not the volts; it's the amps that are dangerous. One can receive a
25,000-volt shock of static electricity from a doorknob on a dry day
without harm. The physiological effect of electrical shock is
determined by: the current, its duration, and the power source that
produces the shock. The typical household current of 110 volts is
dangerous because it can pump many amperes of current throughout the
body indefinitely. By contrast, the Taser power supply consists
of an alkaline 9-Volt battery that is capable of supplying less than
three watts of electrical power for a few minutes.
If 1,000,000 volts aren't dangerous, how do people get electrocuted by a 110 volt house outlet?
It is because you only have ½ the information. It is impossible to discuss the "danger" of voltage without also discussing amps. Compare dropping a bowling ball 100 feet onto someone versus dropping a ping pong ball. The HEIGHT OF THE DROP can be compared to the voltage. The weight of the ball can be compared to the amps. A 110 volt house outlet has 16 amps, a Christmas tree bulb has 1.0 amp and most stun guns have 0.003 amps.
What voltage would you recommend for a stun gun?
Since higher voltage means faster immobilization, it also means the current can pass through more layers of clothing. We would recommend as high a voltage as you can afford. It is also like buying a computer- you would like to get the fastest one if you could afford it.
Would I be stunned if the attacker is touching me while I am hold a stun gun against him?
No, electricity will not pass to you since the current is not high enough.
What is a TASER?
Taser is a trademark name from TASER International which is also the manufacturer that makes TASER for law enforcement. TASER is the only product in the market which will shoot out two 15 feet of wire and allow you to shoot at a distance.
How does TASER work?
When you purchase a TASEr, it doesn't matter which model you buy, they all work the same. Here is how they work.
All TASER devices come in two parts, the first part is the TASER itself which works as a handheld stun gun that allows you to make direct contact with the attacker.
The 2nd part is what they call the "air cartridge". An air cartridge is a square looking box which has two 15-foot wires that are attached to metal probes.
When you insert the air cartridge into the front of the TASER, press the trigger, the air cartridge is going to open up and will shoot out two 15-foot wires and that's what gives you the distance. As long as the Taser is attached to the attacker's body through the wire, everytime you press the trigger, the TASER will send out a few second pulse through the wire into the attacker's body which will keep him down.
Each air cartridge is for one shot only. Once the shot has been fired, you can just simply unplug the air cartridge from the TASER and insert a new one and get ready for another 15ft shot.
How does the background check work?
For TASER X26C, we will do the background check for you before processing the order.
For Taser C2, it is your responsibility to contact the manufacturer and activate the unit once you receive the actual item from us. The manufacturer will perform the background check prior to activating the unit for you. You can either call them by phone or do it over the internet. The process should only take 20-25 minutes and they will charge you $9.95 for the process.
I have a felony record, does that mean I cannot purchase a Taser?
We can perform a background check for you with the manufacturer for free before we process your order. If you pass, you can go ahead and order and if you don't, it won't cost you anything and you have nothing to lose.
Which Taser would you recommend?
We would recommend the TASER C2. It is the latest model and has the highest penetration power. It also comes with a built-in laser sight for aiming and LED flashlight. The best part is that it only weighs 7oz and is only 6 inches long.
How do I activate my TASER C2?
You may activate your TASER by contacting the manufacturer at 1-800-978-2737 or visit their website at http://www.TASER.com/support/Pages/activate.aspx.
How can the Taser be so effective
yet non-injurious?
The Taser does not depend upon impact or body penetration to
achieve its effect. Its pulsating electrical output interferes with
communication between the brain and the muscular system, resulting
in loss of control. However, the Taser is non-destructive to
nerves, muscles and other body elements. It simply affects them in
their natural mode. More importantly, no deaths have ever been
directly attributed to the TASER .
What has testing revealed
regarding the Taser?
Anesthesiologist and specialist in medical electronics, Dr. Frank
Summers, MD of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Orange, California, directed
tests of volunteers at St. Joseph’s in 1971 and 1974. Dr. Summers
stated, "...We undertook this [volunteer test] in the operating
rooms at St. Joseph’s Hospital. We had an assembly of cardiovascular
surgeons, cardiologists... we had a real [TASER]. We tested
extensively and made movies. The tests were impressive. We monitored
all parameters of physiology, including electro cardiographs. The
tests did not produce any lethal effects and we found that the
background work that had been done did indeed pan out in practice."
Does the TASER affect the heart or a
cardiac?
The Taser’s output is well below the level established as "safe"
by the federal government in approving such devices as the
electrified cattle fence. In a medical study of the Model XR 500K
electronic stun gun, Dr. Robert Stratbucker of the University of
Nebraska Medical Center confirmed that the T-Wave does not interrupt
the heartbeat or damage a pacemaker. Any modern pacemaker is
designed to withstand electrical defibrillator pulses that are
hundreds of times stronger than the Taser’s output. The AIR
TASER current of 0.3 joules is well below the 10-50 joule threshold
above which cardiac ventricular fibrillation can occur.
Will the TASER cause electrocution?
No. The output is metered by the electronics and the electrical
energy in each pulse is always the same, regardless of the target
condition. The electrical output will not be transferred from one
person to another even if they touch. Taser, Inc.’s president
has been stunned by an Taser while standing in water to
emphasize this point.
What are the aftereffects?
A person hit with an Taser will feel dazed for several minutes.
The pulsating electrical output causes involuntary muscle
contractions and a resulting sense of vertigo. It can momentarily
stun or render an attacker unconscious. Yet, the Taser’s low
electrical amperage and short duration of pulsating current, ensures
a non-lethal charge. Moreover, it does not cause permanent damage or
long-term aftereffects to muscles, nerves or other body functions. A
January 1987 Annals of Emergency Medicine study reported TASER
technology leaves no long term injuries compared with 50% long term
injuries for gun shot injuries.
Must the probes penetrate the body
to be effective?
No. The electrical current will "jump" up to two inches as long as
both probes are attached to clothing or skin. At most, only the
3/8-inch needlepoint will penetrate the skin. They have less energy
than a spring propelled BB.
What if the probes miss?
The Taser can be used in a touch-stun mode. The user is thus
provided with a final backup if the probes miss the target. Should
the user miss or engage a second attacker, he can touch the unit
directly to the target and it will work like a powerful touch-stun
device.
What is the best-shot at maximum
range?
As long as the spread of the probes is at least six inches, the AIR
TASER will be extremely effective. To ensure that the spread is
greater than six inches, the Taser should be fired at a target
several feet away. The optimum shot is from seven to ten feet away
form the target to achieve maximum effect. At seven to ten feet away
- the spread of the probes will be approximately 16 inches, ensuring
that the target receives the most efficient T-Wave flow.
Does temperature have a
detrimental effect on the Taser?
No. The Taser utilizes compressed nitrogen (an inert gas). The
Taser compressed air capsules have successfully held their
charges at temperatures of minus 20º F and up to 160º F. Moreover,
altitude will not adversely effect the firing of an Taser. In
addition, the temperature will not effect the T-Wave. However, as
with any product containing polycarbonates and other thermoplastics,
the Taser and Air Cartridges should never be left in direct
sunlight.
What is the difference
between EMD weapons and Stun weapons?
EMD weapons: EMD weapons use a more powerful 18 to 26 watt
electrical signal to completely override the central nervous system
and directly control the skeletal muscles. This EMD effect causes an
uncontrollable contraction of the muscle tissue, allowing the
M-Series to physically debilitate a target regardless of pain
tolerance or mental focus. The Air Taser Gun M-Series are EMD
weapons - specifically designed to stop even the most elite,
aggressive, focused combatants. Rather than simply interfering with
communication between the brain and muscles, the Air Taser Gun EMD
systems directly tell the muscles what to do: contract until the
target is in the fetal position on the ground. The Air Taser Gun
provides maximum safety for both the officer and the subject by
bringing dangerous situations quickly under control before force
escalates to lethal levels.
Stun weapons: Traditional stun technology weapons operate in a 7 to
14 watt range and interfere with the communication signals within
the nervous system of the target. These stun systems primarily
effect the sensory nervous system. Like static on the communication
lines between the brain and the body, stun systems interfere with
the human command and control systems. However, a small percentage
of people with a very high tolerance for electrical stimulation can
fight through the effect of these 7 to 14 watt systems. The Air
Taser 34000 series is a stun weapon using the same settings used by
law enforcement for over 20 years.
