A Fashion Show, Self Defense and Cooking Event for Women

Calling all women: Are you in need of learning self defense skills, a cooking demonstration, massages, free health screenings and Zumba? Are you interested in meeting new people?

If you answered yes to the above then you should consider heading to the Cleveland Women’s Show at Cleveland Mall, which is hosting its first local show of its kind. According to the event organizer, the show is a day designed to celebrate women. As no show of its kind is currently on, this show is aimed at bringing women together, in addition to giving them something to celebrate about.

The show will play host to 30 local exhibitors displaying merchandise from soap to cosmetics. Furthermore, health screenings will also be made available for free, including blood sugar, blood pressure and spinal screenings.

The day will begin with a Zumba dancing exercise. Additional events going on throughout the day with feature a fashion show with clothing from five local merchants available in three age groups: girls, teenagers and women. Not only that, but if you are hungry you can take part in a cooking demonstration where a chef will prepare three entrees for the audience to try.

This day will truly be for any woman as they enjoy a free pampering session complete with skin care and makeup consultants and massages. And for those women who are feeling brave enough can take advantage of the free waxing that will also be on offer.

Of course no day celebrating women would be complete without a basic self defense demonstration for women. Whether you’re a woman who has learnt defense skills before, someone who wants to brush up on their skills, or a woman who doesn’t have any, this is the perfect opportunity to gain some vital knowledge in a relaxed and sociable setting with other women.

This will be the first Cleveland Women’s Show taking place, but organizers are hoping that it will continue year after year. Women should be able to celebrate their gender in a relaxed setting, while also gaining vital knowledge about protecting themselves along the way with other women by their side.
