Million Volt Stun Guns Smuggled into Britain

Weapons experts are saying that the K95 weapons are 20 times more powerful compared to a police TASER.

Even though they have the appearance of an ordinary Nokia cell phone, once a button on the side of the device has been pressed they have the ability to deliver a powerful shock to the individual targeted – one million volts of shock.

In recent weeks the UK Border Agency officers have already taken possession of four of the illegal US-made stun gun tools. Two of the devices were at the British Royal Mail’s Mount Pleasant sorting officer based in London. Both of the stunning devices had been sent from the United States.

Officers were also able to seize one device from a passenger who had arrived at Glasgow Airport from Bulgaria, while another was seized from another passenger who flew into Manchester Airport from Turkey.

Videos from YouTube have depicted the phone being promoted by retailers offering customers in the UK with supplies. Furthermore, a woman representing a firm that provides the self defense products comments on the 950,000 volts that the device can produce. She also goes on to add that while 50,000 volts has the capability of subduing a 250lb person for ten minutes, imagine what a one million volt device would be capable of doing to them.

However the director of the UK Border Force has said that they don’t want these types of device on the streets of Britain. As a result, he has officers working around the clock at numerous airports and ports, in addition to working behind the scenes at postal sorting officers, in a bid to seize drugs, banned items and offensive weapons that could get into the UK.

While the familiar self defense devices often seen on law enforcement have been tested, a gun expert explained that the K95s could potentially be fatal, and could cause a heart attack to the victim targeted.

However he did go on to say that it would be difficult to know for sure how dangerous these devices actually are, as they haven’t been tested by the Home Office. Anyone targeted by a one million stun gun mobile phone would collapse, be forced into unconsciousness, and then would recover, unless of course a cardiac arrest took place.
