Stun Gun Assists Officer during Violent Traffic Stop

These days an individual who tries to put up a fight against a police officer will undoubtedly find themselves on the losing side, especially when confronted with a self defense device such as a stun gun, TASER weapon, or pepper spray.

And yet, there are still individuals who find themselves in such a situation, while fully understanding the outcome.

Case in point: A 30-year-old man found himself stunned with a stun gun, handcuffed and arrested after he assaulted a police deputy during a traffic stop. The man in question who had run a stop sign and was pulled over by police was found to be violating a license restriction. After he was caught he ended up resisting his arrest with violence, while trying to escape. As a result, the 30-year-old was then stunned and taken away into police custody.

Initially the deputy’s stun gun device failed when he attempted to disable the suspect as he tried to escape, but on a second try found that he was more successful in his endeavors. All in all concluding that while the man in question had an avenue of escape when the stun gun failed the first time, the tables eventually turned which found the suspect soon handcuffed and taken away.

In most cases when it comes to police officers the best thing to do is comply with what they ask. These days it’s not uncommon to find an officer carrying around a stun gun, or even a TASER device and pepper spray as they go about their daily work. As a result, if you try to escape from an officer, even if it’s because of running a stop sign, you will sooner or later feel the shock of these devices, ultimately bringing you down.

No matter how minor you believe the circumstance to be, if a police officer thinks that you pose a threat in some shape or form, they will utilize their self defense devices on you in one way or another regardless of what you think. After all if you had nothing to hide, they will certainly as you why did you run?
