What happens when the police arrive on the scene of a burglary and the burglars are exiting the house? The criminals get a stun gun used on them. But does that mean that the story has a completely happy ending? Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t.
Recently, the police were called because a house was being robbed. When they arrived, they notice that the two men who were robbing the house were trying to make their exit. In fact, they were actually crawling out of the window they had used to weasel their way into the house.
The police ceased the opportunity to catch them and fired a TASER stun gun at each of them. One of them was completely immobilized and the police were able to put handcuffs on him. The other burglar was a bit luckier. Though the electric shock stunned him, the police weren’t able to get handcuffs on him in time.
The second burglar managed to break free from the police with some of the stolen goods. They weren’t able to catch up with him and make a formal arrest.
The thief that they did manage to catch will be facing charges soon. However, he told the police the name of the man who escaped and they are still trying to hunt him down. While he may have escaped the scene of the crime, the arm of the law is long. He will eventually be caught and when he is, he will be brought to justice.
The stun gun is a great tool for law enforcers, but it isn’t perfect. Though it may have failed to capture one of them, it helped capture the other. Where it succeeded will inevitably make up for where it failed.
